Redondo Beach Hotel for Holiday Beachfront Getaways

Our journey continues!

Cruisin’ our way briskly up the west coast we come to one of the beachfront Meccas of Southern California: Redondo Beach. One of the three “Beach Cities” near Los Angeles along with Manhattan and Hermosa, Redondo is especially well-suited to those holiday travelers who are already “in” to the whole beach culture.

Redondo Beach is known for providing the quintessential SoCal lifestyle with plenty of laidback outdoorsy fun. Along with miles of pristine white-sand beach to explore, those looking for an active vacation will find some of the best surfing opportunities along the west coast. In fact, surf culture is so ingrained in the personality of Redondo Beach that it’s a tradition to hit the waves on New Year’s Day.

For Redondo Beach hotels, I’m especially fond the of the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina Hotel. Located across from the famous Redondo Beach Pier and within easy walking distance of the beach, the Crowne Plaza provides a convenient stay with ample on-site amenities. I like the restaurant, Splash Bistro, as well.
