Presented for your approval, the greatest restaurant ever!
Juju Cereal Bar in Los Angeles, California is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: it’s a restaurant that serves cereal. They serve lots of cereal. Their shelves and store room are piled high with 57 flavors of popular breakfast cereal, from Apple Jacks on down to Wheaties and everything in between. Pick your favorite. Maybe it’s Corn Pops, Life or Golden Grahams. Maybe Trix or Lucky Charms. Maybe you just prefer good old-fashioned Cheerios. They’ve got them all.

Of course, Juju is much more than a blast from the past. Taking the torch from hand-mixed ice cream bars like the Marble Slab, Juju is all about creating your ultimate breakfast cereal. Here’s how it works:
- 2 Scoops of Cereal – make them the same or mix-n-match.
- 3 Mix-ins – this is where you really make your statement, and the options run the gamut from fresh fruit slices, to dried fruits and nuts, to all manner of sweets like sprinkles, peanut butter cups and even caramel and whipped cream.
- Pour – sure, you could go with plain milk, or you could go low-fat, or chocolate, even banana milk, or you could skip the milk altogether and do yogurt instead.
With so many options, one visit may not be enough. Of course, if you’re not feeling adventurous, they’ve got a full menu of pre-designed winners to choose from, or you can just get a regular bowl of cereal or bowl of yogurt with mix-ins.

Just a few miles out, we like the Holiday Inn Santa Monica Beach Hotel for any L.A. vacation that involves a trip to Juju Cereal Bar.

i watched a show on Food Network about this place and my kids are now planning a trip to LA just to go to this place. I guess staying at the Holiday Inn Santa Monica would make it a great combo. We have been there before and it is great.
A very interesting idea! I will definitely try Steven’s Apple Pie Mega Mix, but will skip caramel and go with Whole Milk – delicious! Thanks!
Thanks for your comments, Linda and Victoria.
I too have a bit of an obsession with the Food Network, especially with Alton Brown and “Good Eats”. This place is a great find!
This is one of the most original ideas that I have heard of in a long time!! I don’t live there but the next time I visit I think I have to plan a side trip to visit it!!! It just sounds too good to pass up!
