Girlfriends Getaway to Palm Springs, California

Girlfriends Getaways

My mother and her friends always call it “Ladies Weekend”, but in the industry we prefer “Girlfriends Getaway”. It’s that wonderful one, two, maybe ten-day trip when you leave the kids at home with dad, free up some space on the credit card and head some place awesome with all your best girlfriends.

In fact, you may not even care about the place, interested more in the whole getting away part. Well, my colleagues here at USA Travel Guide do care, and they say an excellent choice for Girlfriends Getaways is Palm Springs, California. Especially if you stay at the Wyndham Palm Springs.

Our favorite hotel in Palm Springs, CA, the Wyndham Palm Springs is affordably upscale considering the resort-crushed market. It has a great location for shopping and dining, you know, wholesome girlfriends getaway activities. Plus, they’ve got a poolside spa. Open daily, Spa del Sol is a full-service spa service offering deep tissues massage, aromatherapy, hot stone, reflexology and several specialty services.

Book for the summer and enjoy the Girlfriends Getaway Package. Along with a “Stay 2 Nights, Get 3rd Free” offer, this package includes:

  • Accommodations
  • Welcome cocktail for two
  • Breakfast for two
  • 10% off spa services per person
  • 1 VIP coupon book to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets (per person)

If you book Thursday to Sunday, they’ll even upgrade you to a pool-view room if available.

Hit up the outlet malls, take a celebrity tour, maybe stop by one of the casinos. The options are limitless in Palm Springs.

I have only ever driven through Palm Springs via the I-10 and it does not look like there is anything there, maybe next time I should get off the freeway and check it out for myself. I could use a weekend away!
