The summer season is fast approaching, and if you’re anything like me, you can already feel the soft, sandy gravel of the beachfront between your toes. Normally, USA Travel Guide would be gearing up for another beach-bound summer, but this year we’re handing off all your coastline queries to some friends of ours. Frankly, they know more, and they’re better at it.
Discover the Best Beaches in the World with Best Beaches.

Exhaustively detailed and remarkably in-depth, Best Beaches is a valuable resource for the discerning beach enthusiast, or really anyone who’s wondering if there’s more to life than another July in South Florida.
How It Works
It’s pretty simple: let the pictures be your guide, or strike your own path through the sand. Pick your continent, pick your country and find a simple truth: the best beaches in the world have everything in common, yet nothing in common at all. The often evocative prose not only introduces you to stunning beaches – from Trinidad to Indonesia – it does well to differentiate them, to elucidate their boldest properties and make the trip all the more enticing.
To be sure, one of our favorite things about Best Beaches is the global authority. Did you know that Bulgaria has several famed beachfront resorts? Did you know that there’s an idyllic cluster of islands off the eastern coast of Africa where marine visibility stretches over 40 meters? Do you know where Papuma Beach is? It’s time you found out!
Best Beaches is a fun read first and foremost, an attractive way to venture outside the norm and learn about the beaches of the world that you probably hadn’t heard of before. Driven by hearty imagery and informative prose, it’s a joy to experience whether you end up taking the trip or not. We at USA Travel Guide can’t recommend it enough. Have fun on your next sand-strewn adventure, and let Best Beaches be your guide.

Hello from Spain,
I just emailed the webmaster of the Best Beaches website you recommend. Awesome site, really! Just to let you know two more BEST beaches in Spain (Europe)
>” (best beach in Spain according to Steven Spielberg..):
>” (voted by Spaniards in 2007 to be the best beach in Spain).
Saludos from Spain,
Chris.
Ha, good list – I’m lucky and have actually been to 7 of the places listed (Phuket, Bali, Fiji, Maldives, El Nido, Boracay and Phi Phi) and know them well, and can say that in my opinion they certainly all deserve to be there, with the exception of Phuket (which has very nice beaches, but not top 20) and Bali, whose beaches are actually not that great – Lombok’s instead. El Nido should be higher as it is truly unbelievable, and a far more beautiful all round setting than Boracay or most others!
